ICT Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) & education syllabus drawn on this,is basically our Foundation’s effort to teach its current and emerging technology ,valuable knowledge and skills around computing and communications devices, software that operates them, applications that run on them and systems that are built with them.
MSUPMicrosoft has partnered with NASSCOM FOUNDATION to roll-out the Microsoft Unlimited Potential (MSUP) program in India. The program has been a landmark initiative to bridge the gap in IT skills across rural India, particularly amongst the disadvantaged and women. Microsoft’s Unlimited Potential programme is a part of the biggest Corporate Social
Responsibility initiated by Microsoft to empower people across the world with I.T. skills. It is aimed at providing high quality learning through community technology and Knowledge centers like Suraj Foundation.Our access to Nasscom Foundation has given us a leverage to take this program to masses.
For the 1st time in India, an international standard curriculum is being delivered in various towns and villages through the vast network of Suraj Foundation under this project. Operating in an extremely conservative socio-cultural environment, Suraj Foundation has successfully imparted IT skills to thousands of people across Maharashtra.
The program offers a number of courses to the students. Each course in the Unlimited Potential curriculum is intended to motivate learners, who are on the lookout for new technologies or those who want to build on current technology skills, either for personal or professional reasons. It helps them to accomplish real-world tasks so that they can immediately increase their productivity. On successful completion of the course, a certificate is issued to the student under the Microsoft Unlimited Potential program.
Over the period this program is withdrawn by Microsoft vis-à-vis Nasscom Foundation but we continued conducting this program through our network.
